A Little About Me:
I am a 40 year old mum with two young boys (5 and 3). I have my own design and communication business which I run part-time. I am adventurous and like trying new things, hobbies include singing, outdoor pursuits, camping, cooking, anything artistic and I like to win (though I don't always). I was on the first ever Deal or No Deal - though don't like to talk about it now !!!
A Little About My Business
I have a design and communication business, which focusses on all marketing materials for housing markets. Have developed my own product Count On It, a food freshness label, to encourage people to get the most out of their food and waste less of it. Working hard promoting this to mothers, councils, green organisations etc.

What Do You Aim To Achieve In The Next 12 Months?
I want Count On It to be stocked in a major supermarket and to have several local authorities on board, utilizing Count On It as part of their waste minimisation strategy. I also want to fun getting there!

I look forward to meeting women and mothers in a similar position as myself and sharing ideas and news - being a work at home mum can be very lonely.

It's official Count On It will be stocked in Lakeland stores nationwide, online and in their brochure from January 2009. The plan now is to let everyone know - links to interested groups would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lyndsey,

Have you thought about a PR? We have at least two on Web Mums - Antonia Chitty & Lesley Singleton. I'm sure that either of those would be able to get you featured in the baby mags and I believe their rates are very good.
I think that Antonia specialises in in this field so it may be worth getting in touch to see if there is anything she can do to help.

Have you written a press release and submitted it to some of the press places online? That's always a good way to go.
