We've been friends for over 18 months now, got to know each other because I wanted some custom made hairclips for my daughter's christening - she did such a brilliant job. She's also made me a mother's day bracelet with all my kids' names on and I love and treasure it!!! We only know each other online hee hee that said, a lot of us are 'online' friends on here and never get chance to meet :D :D

I thought this website and the lovely supportive ladies on here would help Jen and give her the support she deserves.

Thanks for reading.

Hi Jude

Thanks for the kind words, maybe we should arrange to meet up one day over some Chardonnay. The men can look after the little ones ... both on the evening and the following morning!!
Be in touch soon

Hello Everyone,

My name is Purabi and quite new to this lovely site. Don't know how I came across this site, but I am soooo glad I did. I have just started my new business http://www.prishajewels.com. It can get so exhausting trying to balance working from home plus running after a super active 17 month old toddler. She is like the Duracell battery, full of life.... And yet when I look at her when she is fast asleep she looks like an angel ,and find it dificult to believe it is the same little girl during the day!!! . How I love and cherish her....

I know what you mean Purabi, my little girl, Maddie, has just turned 2 last week. She's a little bundle of energy who looks so serene when she sleeps. I love checking in on her before I go to bed to watch her sleeping.

I have two older girls too who are brilliant with her - which is a great help for me when I am working.

Hi

Just joined today....at last! As have been meaning to do so for a while but you know how it is....

Looking forward to meeting new people and picking up tips and ideas along the way, I started my own business last year www.rainbowtotz-childrenswear.co.uk as a way to allow me to be a SAHM to my little boy who is now the grand old age of 3! Even though it's hard work I'm loving the challenge and hope things continue to grow.

Hi All

Am new to the site...pleased to see lots of busy mums doing their bit!! - headless chicken is the 2 words to describe me these days!!

I co-own my business with my best bud from school www.milkymoomoo.com

I do all the design side which I love although I do have to do my fair share of chasing suppliers and sourcing new bits. Pamela is the other partner and she does all the stuff I hate (she no doubt hates it too)- accounts, computer whizz, admin, marketing and all that fancy stuff that goes on at the back of the shop!!!

Looking forward to exchanging some chat, tips and tricks with you all!!

Sunny Spain?!? I'm not jealous at all - I'm loving our washed out summer in the UK! What part of Spain do you live in?

Also to Lyne - your website is so funky and the packaging is genius!

Hi,

I live near Malaga city in the El campo (countryside) sorry to say it's very hot here at the moment no rain for nearly 3mths!
Had good look round the site now and it's brilliant. Loads of info and tutorials, am also looking at starting a blog! (Already inspired by other members)

Am happy to help with any info I can on Spain, for anyone looking to move out here, sell their products in Spain or just info for a holiday! Have travelled round a bit with the kids. We also did a road trip with them last year through France and Spain, which was very exhausting but worth every minute!

Take care

Hello, I'm Jannine from Cornwall... can't say much for sunny at the moment, but that's another subject all together :)

I'm a mum to Shannon and Violet, and fiancee to JP, my lovely Irishman! I am now a work-from-home mum and love it. Previously I was working as a teaching assistant to deaf children in a mainstream school, being deaf myself, it gave me a sense of achievement. However, it came with consequences, I missed my girls, they are only 1 and nearly 3! So I decided to just go for it and set up my own business that I had been umming and arrrring about for months!

I hope everyone is well today :)

Helen,

The hot sounds nice but I imagine you would probably welcome some rain right now!
I was actually considering a move abroad at the beginning of this year and it's not something we have swept under the carpet.

Northern Spain was on our list of options but it's such a massive step, we want to make really sure that it's the right thing for us to do. I've also heard that the house prices are quite high now which was another reason why we are staying put for now.

Anyway - I'm glad you are enjoying the site - look forward to hearing from you soon.
