Do you know any Basket Suppliers?

Hi all

Does anyone know of any wholesale basket suppliers? I am looking for some small baskets, preferably lined ones, to use for my gift baskets. I have found a middle man, but they work out quite expensive, so I am looking to buy direct from somewhere.

I have searched all over and cannot find any suitable suppliers and thought that some of you probably use baskets yourself for your lovely smelling goods etc.

thanks

Yes Helen, I do but there is always a minimum order of £50 for the site - are the following suitable at all? These range from 65p each up to about £4. Obviously you would have to line them yourself...if you want the supplier let me know!

Hi Nikki

Thanks for quick reply. Do they do others? The one's with the red handles may be suitable for one of my gift baskets, dependant upon size, but I need another sort as well. If they have other styles, then yes please give me their website or other details.

Thanks

Hi Linda

Thanks for that, these are who I use at the moment, but I am trying to cut out the middle man, as they are quite expensive.

Thanks anyway.

I always struggle to get my friends gifts for their babies - and little ones. iv found this site http://www.kitoto.com and there stuff is gorgeous - iv ordered a couple of times now and the first time i had it sent to me so i could see the quality now i dont bother as the clothing and toys etc are fab, apparently you can only buy them on this site as its their own brand !! anyway see what youu think for yourself i really rate them.

Hi all

Thanks for all your tips for basket suppliers. I have now found who supplies Candi Gifts which is where I get my baskets from currently, so if I can buy in bulk I will save quite a bit. If anyone else needs baskets, maybe we can put together a joint order. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Have you tried
http://www.qcu.com/
I used to use them when I sold on ebay. They have some really cute baskets. My favorite was the tea cup basket.
Good luck!

Hi there

Thanks for the tip and they have some lovely baskets, but it doesn't look like they ship to the UK, unless you know differently? I have found all the baskets I want from American sites, but none of them ship to UK. I don't know why there isn't anyone over here selling all the lovely colours and ranges that you get in the USA - there you go a niche for someone!

Helen, I actually spotted some in the local hobby craft store last week, there were only a few but they were good quality and much cheaper than I have seen in the wholesalers so far! Might be worth a short term trip solution if you have one nearby.
