Work Online From Home With Web Mums

I am taking Nikki's advice and starting my first blog on Webmums. I have been involved in networking for about 2 years and although I haven't made many sales from any of the networking events or sites, I have made contacts. Contacts that have turned into good friends. Contacts that have kept me going (Nikki) and given their knowledge freely. The knowledge that I have gained outweighs any sales and to me that is priceless.
I am a member of a local networking group that I help to organize. We meet once an month, usually in a hotel but once had a beading workshop and had a meal at a restaurant. With the help again from Nikki I have set a ning group for this group. It went live on Tuesday and we now have 7 members. Ok, not great but if any of you have ever followed some of the stupid question I keep asking you will know this is a great achievement for me.
So to round of my first blog I would like to say that I am going to blog every week and you all have my permission to nag me if you don't see my blog here every week. Well, when I say every week I don't mean the 2 weeks I will be on holiday.
P.S. If anyone is in the Durham area let me know you can join in with helping me organize our next networking event.

Brilliant - so good to see you blogging Ann! I'm glad the new group is off and running and Web Mums had under 10 members for over a week and under 30 for a few months before I started to promote it - so 7 is a great start, especially as it's area targeted - well done Ann! :-)

.....and I will nag you if we don't hear from you each week. Don't forget to add some links into your post...I'm sure there are many products you sell that women on here would be glad of during the loooong summer holidays!!!

Thanks Nikki, will be blogging about some of products and will use links. Members are up to 8 on my ning, now I just need to get them to start using it. Thanks for all your help.
