Web Mums WAHM Network

A while ago, I began recruiting Sales Agents - its all going slowly but well. I do now have a few ladies around the country who have signed up to be Sales Agents & hopefully orders will soon begin coming in.
I've already had one lady who has made a wonderful start with 2 orders already, this may not seem a lot to some of you in business but when time & finances are not in abundance this is a milestone to my business. The first step along the path to growing the business & spreading the word about Scents-ible Solutions Aromatherapy.

If anyone reading this is looking for a fun way to earn with flexible hours & to be able to prioritise your family commitments above work, then this maybe the opportunity you are looking for. 25% commission is paid on all sales acheived, so your earning potential is entirely upto you.

I have signed up my first school who are going to be selling products to raise funds. This is an on-going project & parents & staff have the opportunity to purchase affordable handmade Aromatherapy products to soothe or pamper & raise money at the same time.

If anyone knows of an organisation which can benefit from this scheme, let them know & please pass on my details. There is no financial outlay, just the opportunity to raise finances.

I'm really pleased with the direction this is going in & it was being a member of Web Mums & talking to other members that finally gave me the push to get this venture started.

Upwards & onwards from here, from little acorns big oak trees grow & this is my goal to turn a business that has been more of a hobby into a creditable & successful business.

I agree can be very hit & miss. Only half a dozen parents attended on Friday, not all bought or ordered but still did well over £100 & i'm sure the brochures will be put into the staff room, so hopefully more orders from that.
Once ive sorted myself out, I will be contacting more schools in the area & at least now i've got some figures to quote at them for fundraising & a school they will know.
Good luck with your fundraiser.

Sound like a good idea. I often find these kind of things aren't well attened by parents. So it's very htty, missy, if know what I mean. I have a school fundraiser to pick up this week, know idea what kind of response I will get. Then doing a school fayre later in June, again not sure what kind of response I will get as the head warned me it was only a small school. Fingers crossed.

Hi Ann
The school funraiser went well. This is a school I have previously been into to do demonstrations to parents. I initially did a coffee morning, taking in samples & products & also brochures. The brochures will stay in school permanently & the school will collect orders & money. I will then deliver the orders.
I have thought about attending the summer fayre, havent broached the subject as yet but could be a good idea to introduce the products to other parents.

As for the competition, I've all the ideas written down, its been non-stop, so I haven't had chance to go through them all,I hope to choose in the next week or so.

Hi Helen

This sounds great, hope it all goes well. How are you doing your school fundraiser. I am keen to get into school, but not sure which is the best way of doing it. do you do to school with products, say on a summer fayre day. Or do you just contact them with the idea. Hope you don't mind me asking.

how did you get on with that competition, you had loads of responses.

Thank you Nikki.
Yes 2008 has certainly been good so far, a change of direction has been refreshing & opened up different possiblilites.

Web Mums has played more than a little part in the growth & success, some members have expressed an interest in the Sales Agents role, I have made business contacts with a variety of people & businesses, gained knowledge, support, encouragement & best of all new friends. That is more than a little part to me.
