I'm mad, I'm positive I am! So my two new sites are really a spin off from Cubs Kids Wear, The first is Ruby & Tom dress-up clothing for boys and girls 0-7 years. Helen Hey my first blog post ever - someone please read!

Start the trumpets, blow on the horns - this is my first blog post ever and I've done it in Web Mums! Blogging has been on my to do list for ages and I got up early again to get a head start on working on my SEO and here I am in Web Mums! So I thought, what the heck give this blogging thing a go. I couldn't see what I would have to write about that anyone would be interested in, but I suppose that's my shyness creeping in and people keep telling me to promote myself and my business. It's a wea… Continue

Jude Robinson Launch of our Iona Cosmetics Aromatherapy Collection

Hey everyone, Sorry I've been quiet again recently. Personally I've had my youngest children's birthdays - my beautiful Jasmine was 3 on the 15th August and my cheeky monkey Elliott was 2 on the 27th August. Big family party on Saturday the 23rd August, it was a mad house with a bouncy castle in the back garden - not sure if that was for the kids or the adults hee hee. It really was heart melting though to see how excited our kids were. And so, some more great news from me from a business pers… Continue

Claire Dixon New & Exciting Partnership Project Underway!

My book of Shadows if full of information, some of it goes back years and years, so much so that some of the ingredients in a few things are no longer available! But while it holds a great deal of information it's only me that gets to see it, use it and of course benefit from it. However, that is about to change. Currenly undergoing development, are a range of Magickal Oils, taken from recepies in my own book of shadows, and adapted for use by everyone. I have been working closely with my frien… Continue

Jude Robinson Haven't blogged for a little while

Hey everyone Well I haven't posted for a little while. Lots been happening, some good some bad. I'll start with the bad. Unfortunately my back took a turn for the worse a couple of weeks ago, pain at the base of my spine going into my right buttock (my problems were always on the left). I suffered for a week before contacting the hospital and my GP so I'm currently awaiting an emergency MRI scan to see what's going on. As you can see, the usual non-urgency of the NHS means I haven't got an app… Continue

Helen Hammond Aromatherapy Information Site

I would like to invite anyone who has an interest in aromatherapy to my new information site www.scentsiblearomas.ning.com I always had a slight interest in aromatherapy growing up but until I met my Stepmom & found someone who was passionate about how essential oils can enhance everyone's health in such an easy & natural way, aromatherapy was always one of those subjects that I would one day read about. Jackie's enthusiasm & simpl… Continue

Sarah J-W Aromatherapy Sales agents

I have really enjoyed being a sales agent for Helen at Scentsible Soltutions. It has it's ups and it's downs, but it gives such an insight into running a business, but without the overheads, I am learning so much about advertising, promotion and paperwork. Helen is great and very supportive and makes products that so far everyone I have sold to has come back with rave reviews. (It also makes your house smell scrummy - especially after a delivery!) I have always been interested in Aromatherapy, b… Continue

Sabine What has happened?

I just realized it's been a while since I posted something in my blog here. So here goes. Looks as if we get our money back from the Spanish Seguridad. Just have to post over a - yet another - original certificate and hey presto! We should be set for the green light. Thanks to a wonderful woman (well the guy in the troupe was "too busy") who worked very hard on our behalf we seem to be on to a winner. Just another piece of evidence about women networking and how much more efficient they are tha… Continue

Helen Hammond Aromatherapy has its serious side

I thought i'd let everyone know what ive been upto this week. On Tuesday I was invited to speak (again) to the Alzheimer's Cafe in Solihull. This is a return visit for me and I was only to happy to accept their invitation. Alzheimer's is one of those diseases that we all hope will avoid affecting us, unfortunately its a disease that can be devastating for friends and relatives of those affected. The lack of government funding for drugs which can help to stave off the some of the symptoms to tho… Continue

Helen Hammond Expanding the business

A while ago, I began recruiting Sales Agents - its all going slowly but well. I do now have a few ladies around the country who have signed up to be Sales Agents & hopefully orders will soon begin coming in. I've already had one lady who has made a wonderful start with 2 orders already, this may not seem a lot to some of you in business but when time & finances are not in abundance this is a milestone to my business. The first step along the path to growing the business & spreading t… Continue
