- I’m the founder of T&E Coaching and a qualified life coach. I thrive on helping individuals and businesses realise their full potential.
Originally, I qualified as a forester and worked as a woodland manager for many years. Gradually over the years I realised that although I loved helping trees to grow, my real passion and talent is for helping people to grow!
On a personal level, I’m married with three young daughters and live near York. Life’s pretty good for me now (thanks to the coaching I’ve had myself) but I have particular empathy with professional women struggling to balance the demands of work and family and with people who struggle with self esteem issues. I enjoy being outdoors, going for walks and pottering in the garden – and I still love trees!
I’m a practical, pragmatic person, affectionately referred to by some of my clients as ‘the wise woman of the woods’! I like to work to demystify coaching, to make it practical and accessible.

Inspired by the Olympics?
Although I have to confess the Olympics have only been part of the 'background music' to my life of late, what I have picked up has been really uplifting - some inspiring stories and much that gave me food for thought. You have to admire the awesome desire, drive, determination and skill of the athletes and there's much that we can learn from them and apply to our day to day lives. Here's just a few Olympic tips:
