I was feeling really smug enjoying my best first quarter since opening and then - wham - the bottom fell out of the marketplace. For the time of year sales are much slower than previous years and I find that although I am getting orders, they are for one item where usually customers were buying several in a single order.
I realise that we are all going to have to work much harder to get the customers so I welcome any good suggestions and shared practice.
Plus, who wants a reciprocal link? I have a Google page rank of 3.
I've got a blog (www.photofairytales.blogspot.com) and if any of you would like to have a "guest" piece about your product/website that would be great - maybe you could return the favour if you have a blog too?
Just let me know if you're interested...(every little helps!)
Yup slow here too on the party supplies front, although some of that could be down to me moving domain names. I am seeking help getting the website in top notch condition and then actively marketing it, while I concentrate on the baby fairs side. Just hope things pick up for Christmas.
