Hi, my name is karen and i'm new to this site, although i don't work I totally understand the really complicated issues around trying to work and still see your kids occasionally. Love the site Nik and hope it takes off - you go girl!!
Thanks for joining hun!! You do realise that this will now be an extension of coffee mornings and nattering in the playground (whilst we discuss important work related issues - of course!!)
I imagine that most mums will just want to chat - but it's a platform for any women/mums to advertise anything that they might be up to!! You can sell your bespoke woolly hats (I want one for Maddie this winter)!!
Hi all, my name is Amiee. Some of you may know me from the ebay groups as fragg1es. Apologies for the dodgy profile but I have a ning account for another site and I couldnt change it.
I have a daughter called Jessica and work from home selling my handcrafted jewellery to whoever wants it lol.

Hi to all the new mums that have joined the group! I will try and get round and say 'hello' individually. It takes a bit of getting used to in here - finding you way around etc, but you can customise your 'me page', start up your own group within this group (when there are a few more members), leave messages on peoples pages and discuss with everyone on the forum. If anyone is having trouble navigating their way around, please gimme a shout! I shall add everyone to my friends list as you arrive so that you can easily contact me if you have any techy questions about the site! Infact i shall start a new thread for techy stuff! :)
I see we've had a couple of new mums join since i last popped in! So 'Hello' to any new mums - do feel free to join in any chat on the forums or start your own. If you need any help navigating your way around then either message me or ask on the forums - someone will always help you out. Once you've had a look round a few times - it all becomes straight-forward - unless you are toonie - who is a complete techno phobic!!! *runs and hides*
